Kimberley a poursuivi une carrière dans la danse pendant veingt ans, tout en élevant ses trois enfants. Elle est devenue une Doula de naissance et de post-partum il y a une décennie et depuis, elle équilibre son emploi du temps de freelance avec des visites post-partum aux nouvelles mères. Elle est artiste en résidence pour la Chaire McConnel sur la réappropriation de la maternité, une résidence artistique de quatre ans qui se terminera par une exposition en janvier 2024 au Centre Exposition de l'Université de Montréal. Kimberley s'intéresse à l'improvisation comme point de départ et comme outil de collaboration artistique. Elle a fondé le collectif d'improvisation "5 on 5". Elle présentera son œuvre intégrale "The Day the Wild Cried" avec le musicien Jason Sharp en octobre 2022 au théâtre La Chapelle.
Kimberley has maintained a career in dance for twenty years, while raising her three children. She became a birth and postpartum Doula one decade ago and since balances her freelance schedule with mostly postpartum visits to new mothers. She is an artist in residence for the McConnel Chair on the reappropriation of maternity, a four-year artistic residency culminating with an exhibition in January 2024 at the Centre Exposition de l’Université de Montreal. Kimberley is interested in improvisation as a starting point and a tool for artistic collaboration. She founded the improvisation collective “5 on 5”. She will be presenting her full-length work “The Day the Wild Cried” with musician Jason Sharp in October 2022 at La Chapelle theatre
